Welcome to our school!
St. Christopher’s Special School caters for children with special educational needs under the auspices of the Department of Education and Science and the patronage of the Executive Committee of County Longford Association for persons with an Intellectual Disability. It is a non-denominational school which caters for pupils between the ages of 4-18 years,who have a Moderate General Learning Disability, a Severe/ Profound General Learning Disability, and pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder within one of the above two categories.

We recently had the pleasure of a visit from our Longford Rose Grace Kemple, who presented our school with a generous donation. Huge thanks to Grace, not only for these much appreciated funds, but for your lovely words, the time you spent interacting with all of our pupils and for joining in enthusiastically with our impromptu dance party!
